6. How does this program compare to other programs?

We understand that choosing the right program is an investment of both time and money. Here’s how The Sage Apprenticeship compares:

  • Standard 200-Hour YTT:

    • Price: $2,000–$3,500

    • Typically lasts 1–3 months, focusing only on foundational yoga without therapeutic or dharmic elements.

  • Advanced Certifications (Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda):

    • Price: $4,500–$8,000

    • Often spans 6–12 months, with a narrower focus that may not include live components, retreats, or community-building opportunities.

  • High-End Integrative Programs:

    • Price: $6,000–$10,000

    • Includes certifications, therapeutic focus, and mentorship, similar to The Sage Apprenticeship Level 1, but often without the added value of a retreat or the seasonal, dharmic focus that sets our program apart.

7. Why is this program a unique investment?

The Sage Apprenticeship is thoughtfully designed to meet you where you are, supporting your journey with depth, flexibility, and personal connection. Here’s what makes it special:

  • Length and Depth: With 11 months of guided learning, the program balances live classes, seasonal practices, and advanced integration, offering a pace that allows for true transformation.

  • Dual Certifications: Earn both a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certification and a Tantra Yoga Therapy Certification, alongside meaningful modules like seasonal cleanses and ancestral healing rituals, which are rarely found together.

  • Comprehensive Learning Model: Combines weekly live sessions, immersive weekends, and self-paced content, providing flexibility without losing structure.

  • Retreat Included: The Fire + Ritual Retreat is a key part of the program. Unlike many trainings, this retreat (including dorm accommodations, meals, and materials) is part of your course fee, ensuring hands-on, experiential learning.

  • Supportive Community + Mentorship: Personalized teaching labs, peer mentorship, and a nurturing environment ensure you feel supported every step of the way, from personal practice to teaching readiness.

8. What happens after the live weekend classes end in September?

From October to December, students will attend weekly student-led practices to integrate the year’s teachings. (Thursdays 10-12pm EST)

This is a mandatory component for certification and community support, emphasizing the value of giving back:

  • For Future Teachers: You’ll guide practices to refine your teaching skills and receive constructive feedback from peers and mentors.

  • For Non-Teaching Participants: Your participation in observation and offering thoughtful, critical feedback is required to support the learning community.

This phase ensures everyone engages deeply, whether refining their teaching abilities or contributing to the community experience.

9. What certifications will I receive?

Graduates will earn a Tantra Yoga Therapy Teacher Certification and are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as a 200-hour Yoga Teacher, joining the global community of certified teachers.

10. Can I Begin Level 2 in October 2025? (Intentional Overlap Designed for You)

Yes! We’ve intentionally structured Level 2 to overlap with the final months of Level 1, allowing you to seamlessly continue your studies without waiting.

Here’s how it works:

  • In the mornings, you’ll complete your Level 1 practicum requirements by leading or observing student-led teaching labs.

  • In the afternoons, you’ll join the Sage Level 2 integration practices, starting with the Earth practices of Bhumi Sadhana, which focus on grounding, embodiment, and truly integrating what you’ve learned in Level 1.

This intentional overlap ensures you build upon your foundation in a natural, holistic way, creating a smoother transition into advanced studies while deepening your seasonal and therapeutic practices.

For those seeking the 500-hour Tantra Yoga Therapy Teacher Certification, this overlap offers an ideal path to continue learning, growing, and integrating without interruption.

Community Integration and Certification Process

Additional Details:

A favorite aspect of the Sage Apprenticeship is the focus on community connection and giving back. From September to December, students will guide weekly student-led practices to refine their teaching skills and receive feedback, while the community benefits from their unique approach and style.

Upon completion of the program:

  • Students will take a short written exam, design therapeutic practices, and lead a final teaching session to receive their Tantra Yoga Therapy Teacher Certification.

  • Certification includes a 1:1 private review session with Brooke. This review is complimentary for students continuing to Level 2 as a gesture of appreciation for their loyalty and commitment to deeper studies.

  • For students not enrolling in Level 2, the certification process fee remains $130, ensuring access to personalized feedback and mentorship to complete your certification journey.

  • Graduates may also register with Yoga Alliance as 200-hour Yoga Therapy Teachers, joining the international teaching community.

For those seeking to deepen their studies, Level 2 provides advanced training and integration, building on the foundational knowledge of Level 1.
