Founder, Director, Teacher
Brooke Sullivan BA, c-IAYT, e-RYT500 is a tantra yoga therapist, herbalist, podcaster, writer, retreat leader, and educator of the Science and Philosophy of Sri Vidya Tantra. She is the director of The Wild Temple School of Yoga + Herbal Wisdom, voice of The Wild Temple Podcast and lead teacher of The Sage Apprenticeship, a professional Dharmic Living + Tantra Yoga Therapy self mastery program.
An initiate of the Himalayan Sages, her passion is to connect people to nature and ancient tantric wisdom for health, empowerment and the courage to live life fully. As a "dharma igniter," she helps people, families and organizations step into their highest, healthiest most powerful version of themselves.
Brooke’s dedication to yoga and the healing arts has been cultivated with over 25 years of experience in tantra, yoga, ayurveda, herbalism, vitalism, vibrational healing (flower essences, homeopathy, Tibetan energy healing) and holistic woman care as well as cultivating the art of self-care while traveling internationally. A grammy winning artist and lover of Nature, this daughter of the mountains has a deep and driving desire to understand and connect to the beauty and joy in all life. She currently lives and runs The Wild Temple in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, of the unceded lands of the Eastern Band of Cherokee.
We have 4 main programs at The Wild Temple School. Although offered separately, each program is designed to create a beautiful tapestry of embodied tantric wisdom when woven together. In their cross-pollination, one becomes thoroughly educated and a strong practitioner of foundational to advanced Tantric Yoga + Herbal wisdom. Practitioners are then able to offer these services as professionals in their communities, specializing in the power, methodology and safety of health + wholeness in:
Sage Roots (200hr Tantra Yoga + Ayurveda Foundational Program)
The Sage Apprenticeship (Tantra Yoga Therapy + Dharmic Living Self Mastery Program (500hr))
Plants Drop Wisdom (Flower Essence Training + Certification)
The Yogis Apothecary (Tantric Herbalism)
Here at The Wild Temple school, we value supporting individuals and communities in reclaiming their power. We aim to share Tantric Science with students, who when ready, can bring the skills, tools, and transformative wisdom out of the classroom (or out of the forest) and into the world.
We value the uniqueness of every individual and that becoming a yoga professional, flower essence practitioner, or tantric herbalist is truly to become one's highest version of themselves. It is our mission to guide those steps and support the journey.
What we stand for is dismantling racism, toxic new age spirituality, patriarchy, and colonialism. Our school also has feminist values, and many of our programs help heal and support women.
Of huge importance lies in our dedication to the decolonization of yoga. Our classes honor that although yoga is not religious, it is connected to many religions and that there is a strong, living culture around the world that values the Tantric and Yogic teachings as sacred. We aim to maintain this sacred thread while sharing the teachings as best we can, in a manner that honors Tantra, Yoga + Ayurveda's philosophical, scientific AND cultural roots. It is for this reason for example, that we draw much of our education from the ancient texts as well as choose not to omit but include Sanskrit in all of our programs. Although the language is a learning curve for many, including Sanskrit is an important key in not only valuing the lineage but the depth of teachings that are experienced when opening one's mind to its beauty and potency.
We understand that wisdom teachings offer keys that can empower people within their own communities. We encourage our students that are ready, to share what they have learned in a manner that benefits their unique style, interest, and skill. We offer mentorship guidance and final 'giving back' projects for students to become 'seeds' of these valuable teachings within their own communities.
In this manner, the living pulse of ancient wisdom spreads into our contemporary world like beautiful, varied wildflowers.
We aim to offer our programs in accordance with Nature. Releasing the demands of calendar time, we set our courses to flow in a manner that balances action with rest, radiance with receptivity, and attunement to the seasons. For this reason, we follow the sun. Retreats are often held when the sun welcomes comfort, such as January retreats in India and June retreats in Ireland. We also align our apprenticeships to the natural flow of the seasons, and do our best to align also to the school year to support home and family life.
As a school and community, we are allies of black, brown, indigenous, and First Nation people, along with anyone who identifies as LGBTQIA+, our elders, the homeless, the broken, the traumatized, and the forgotten.
Whether online or in-person, we do our best to be allies and stewards of Mother Earth, while being part of the mass movement dedicated to support future generations.
As a yoga-centric school, and being the director of the Sage Apprenticeships, I, Brooke Sullivan, am deeply humbled to be bringing the Sage wisdom of the Himalayan lineage forward, not as a "master" or "guru" but as a decades-long, dedicated practitioner, seeker and initiate of the Sri Vidya lineage.
I recognize that as the director, our Wild Temple School is a growing community in a changing world. In order to be authentic to myself, the teachings and YOU, I do my best to walk my talk, grow from my mistakes and continue to make my practice the central focus of my every day.
Valuing the potency and sacredness that weaving ancient lineage and tradition into the contemporary world offers, our lineage, is not a line, but more of a spiral path or circle within concentric circles.
May we all continue to unfold the magic and truths of the cosmos and forgive ourselves of our imperfections.
May we walk together.
May we understand one another.
May we prosper in each other's prosperity.

If depth, integrity, and a systematic yet spiral path toward spiritual mastery are what you’ve been searching for, you’re home.
The Wild Temple is for seekers who sense that yoga is a living technology — one that awakens what lies dormant within the body, the breath, and the natural world. Here, spiritual potency is cultivated through embodied experience, relationship with Nature, and devotion to practice over time.
This path is for you if you are ready to claim your spiritual mastery, trust your inner intelligence, and allow yoga to shape how you live, perceive, and choose.
Tantra is considered the Mother of Yoga and Ayurveda, offering a complete spectrum of practices shaped by desire, destiny, and lived reality.
This path is well-suited for yogis and meditators seeking advanced yoga training, authentic yoga rooted in classical lineages, and clear mentorship that supports long-term practice. Through asana, pranayama, kriya, bandha, nidra, meditation, mantra, and spiritual herbalism, students learn step-by-step methodologies that restore yoga to its original depth and intelligence.
This work supports those seeking yoga mentoring and a coherent framework for weaving profound wisdom into personal practice, teaching, and daily life.
Many who come to The Wild Temple are healers in the truest sense — not only those who work one-on-one, but those being called to repair what has been fractured across generations, cultures, and ecosystems.
Our world is sick in deep and layered ways. The weight of ancestral, cultural, and karmic debt is real, and many people arriving at yoga today feel the unmistakable call to participate in its healing. This work empowers healers to tend that responsibility without collapsing, burning out, or abandoning their own vitality.
At The Wild Temple, we focus on igniting courage, clarity, and embodied strength, so healers become forces of Nature — steady, discerning, and alive. Self-care here is not an escape; it is a strategic act of coherence that allows real service to emerge.
The Śiva Sūtras remind us:
bhoga–apavarga–saṁyogāt
Freedom arises through the union of lived experience and liberation.
This is the Tantric understanding: the path of freedom does not require withdrawal from life. It asks for full participation — with awareness, discipline, and heart. Through practices rooted in Tantra Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda, and embodied ritual, healers learn to metabolize intensity, refine perception, and remain resourced while doing meaningful work.
This path is for those ready to heal deeply, live fully, and serve wisely — tending the repair of the world while truly inhabiting their own lives.
Yogis make powerful social change agents. When rooted in clarity, compassion, and integrity, embodied practitioners naturally step into roles of leadership, mentorship, and community activism.
The Wild Temple supports healers and leaders committed to creating a world worth living in — one guided by relational intelligence, ecological awareness, and shared responsibility. This work invites a reorientation away from inherited systems that perpetuate imbalance, hierarchy, and disconnection, and toward ways of living that honor dignity, interdependence, and the sanctity of life.
Tantra Yoga transmits a paradigmatic worldview — one that cultivates courage and grace, and that responds to injustice through holistic means that strengthen the web of life. Through embodied practice, study, ritual, and service, students are supported in living their values with coherence, integrity, and impact.
The Wild Temple School of Yoga understands Dharma as lived truth — the art of aligning one’s inner nature with the way we move through the world.
Drawing inspiration from the ancient Kalpavṛkṣa, the Wish-Fulfilling Tree said to dwell between the heart and solar plexus, we recognize Dharma as something revealed from within. This inner Tree holds the knowledge of who we are and what we are here to tend, create, and become.
The Bhagavad Gītā offers a simple and powerful reminder:
“It is better to live your own Dharma imperfectly
than to live another’s perfectly.”
Dharmic living is the keystone of empowered life. It calls us to act with clarity, courage, and integrity — especially as householders navigating work, relationships, family, and community. Here, Self-Realization is not postponed for another lifetime or another context. It unfolds through the very responsibilities and desires that shape our days.
Every course at The Wild Temple is a methodology devoted to uncovering this inner alignment — supporting students in living their soul’s purpose with honesty, vitality, and devotion. When Dharma is honored, desire matures, action becomes skillful, and life itself becomes a path of awakening.
